Led the design of an award-winning national school program promoting digital safety and well-being.
The Optus Digital Thumbprint Program is a free, curriculum-aligned initiative designed to empower young people to participate safely online while fostering positive, responsible, and authentic digital interactions. Created in partnership with Optus during my time at ChangeLabs, the program has reached over 100,000 students since its inception in 2013, addressing critical topics like cybersecurity, digital identity, and cyberbullying.
As the Design Lead, I developed facilitator-led and teacher-led workshops tailored for secondary students. These interactive sessions cover essential topics such as digital discernment, balance, and respectful online relationships. The workshops' mission was to equip students with tools to navigate the digital world responsibly while promoting a broader culture of well-being and safety online.
Since its launch, the program has grown to impact 415,000 students across Australia and continues to thrive as a key part of school curriculums.
